Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights, a warm mahogany core and a ruby-tinted glow from its sherry-influenced maturation.
Nose
Deep sherry-soaked nose with dark fruit: raisin, fig and prune ribbon through orange zest. Densely toffee and cocoa mingle with toasted almond, vanilla and a drizzle of honey. Spiced oak, cinnamon and clove add warmth, while a subtle malt sweetness keeps the aroma elegant and inviting.
Palate
Sherried and plush on the palate, with dried plum, fig and raisin wrapped in toasted oak and dark chocolate. Orange zest, honeyed toffee and warm spice—cinnamon and clove—bring depth, finishing long, balanced and gently nutty.
Finish
An expansive, sherry-rich finish: fig and raisin sweetness yields to dark chocolate, orange zest and toasted spice, then settles into velvet oak. Warmth lingers with a refined, gentle bitterness and a long, polished fade.
