Nose

Explosive peat smoke envelops the nose, sharpened by sea-salt brine and iodine. Medicinal, ash-touched notes rise from toasted barley, with subtle sherry-derived dark fruit, cocoa and burnt sugar. A bright citrus zing—orange peel—cuts the richness, while vanilla-spice and oak sit on a mineral, coastal backbone. Profoundly aromatic and persistent.

Palate

Bold peat smoke frames deep barley and sherry sweetness, with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and dried cherry. A maritime saltiness and iodine cut through, with a touch of vanilla from the oak. Full-bodied, warming, and persistent, the finish carries resinous peat, cocoa, and citrus zest.

Finish

Long, monumental finish of peat smoke, sea salt and ash, with a peppery warmth from the 63% ABV. It slowly yields to sherry-rich sweetness, dark resin, and charred oak, then a mineral citrus whisper that lingers, keeping the Islay coast alive on the palate.
