A Single Cask Release bottled exclusively for French spirit merchants La Maison de Whisky. This whisky was distilled on 22nd May 2007 and laid to rest in single bourbon cask #114 before being bottled on 21st June 2010.

Colour
Bright straw-gold with warm honey-amber reflections, sun-kissed and luminous.
Nose
Powerful peat and maritime notes define the nose: thick smoke intertwined with iodine and sea-salt brine, brightened by vanilla-bourbon sweetness. Fresh barley aromas rise, followed by charred oak and a lemon zest lift, finishing with a subtle ash and resinous smoke.
Palate
Bold and vibrant on the palate, this Kilchoman unleashes peat smoke and sea-salt with zesty citrus notes. Bourbon-cask maturation delivers creamy vanilla, toffee and a hint of coconut, interlacing with youthful barley spice. It coats the tongue with a warm, structured oak, and finishes with pepper, ash and a bright, lingering peat echo.
Finish
Long, warming finish of peat smoke and vanilla-bourbon sweetness, with a coastal salt kiss and toasted oak. The heat softens into resinous, charred notes that linger gracefully, leaving a gentle pepper on the tongue.
