The Maury Cask Matured limited edition is not a finish, the whisky was aged for the full term of its maturation in ex-Maury fortified wine casks. Maury is a sweet, fortified wine from the Roussillon region of southern France, made primarily from Grenache noir grapes.
The time the whisky has spent maturing in these wine casks, has added layers of dates, raisins and dark honey sweetness which balance beautifully with the natural peat smoke and citrus sweetness of Kilchoman.

Colour
Deep amber with copper highlights and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Figs, raisins and dates mingle with salted caramel, bright orange peel and a soft veil of peat smoke, melding sweetness and smoke into a warm, inviting aroma.
Palate
Pipe smoke and dark chocolate unfold on the palate, with treacle and warming spices weaving through a rich, lingering finish.
Finish
Dried fruits unfold with cacao and earthy peat smoke, finishing with a delicate, dry spice.
