Named after the famously dark, peaty loch overlooked by the distillery, the annual Loch Gorm limited edition is Kilchomans only regular expression matured entirely in oloroso sherry casks.
For the 2023 Edition Anthony and Robin selected a total of 22 casks, 8 distilled in 2013, 6 distilled in 2014, and 8 distilled in 2015.
Each cask was chosen for its unique flavour profile which, when combined together with the other 21 casks, create a beautiful balance of rich fruity character with layers of classic Kilchoman peat smoke and citrus sweetness.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, dark amber with rich mahogany tones and a warm copper glow.
Nose
Hints of cacao with an essence of leather, black cherry and a light wisp of smoke, inviting a nuanced, peat-kissed aroma.
Palate
Roasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate mingle with roasted dark fruits, giving way to a light, ashy peat smoke that lingers on the palate.
Finish
Balanced and long, the finish unfolds with a fresh Islay sea breeze—salty, marine notes mingling with a gentle peat whisper as citrus ebbs.
