Anthony and Robin have hand-selected a total of 20 Fino Sherry Butts of which the spirit was distilled in 2018. Fino provides the spirit with an entirely alternative maturation style; one which isn’t often seen from the distillery with more emphasis typically placed on Oloroso sherry casks, predominantly used for Kilchoman expressions of Sanaig and Loch Gorm.

Colour
Pale golden straw with sunlit honey tones and a delicate amber edge.
Nose
Ripe apple and pear anchor the nose, forming a crisp orchard structure that broadens as it opens. Herbaceous freshness rises with the fruit, while subtle honey and warming spice unfold; a delicate peat dryness threads through, lending poise and intrigue.
Palate
Butter-soft and silky on the palate, shaped by slow distillation and Cognac oak. Dried lemon and apricot mingle with warm cinnamon and nutmeg, woven through toasted oak. A subtle peat sweetness threads through, lifting the fruit and spice into a poised, velvety finish with citrus warmth and a lasting, refined smoke.
Finish
Unrivalled Cognac-cask depth lingers on the finish, as dried fruits and marzipan yield to crystallised ginger, balancing sweetness with spice. A whisper of peat smoke persists, brightened by citrus oil that threads across the palate.
