Kilchoman Family Casks 1st Edition Rockside Barley Single Malt Scotch Whisky 14 Year Old
Out of stock
This 14-year-old Kilchoman was bottled in 2026 as part of the first Family Casks edition, made using Rockside Farm barley grown on Islay. That local barley element adds extra interest straight away, tying the whisky even more closely to Kilchoman’s farm distillery identity and the island it comes from. Bottled at 50.9% ABV, it offers a mature and characterful take on the distillery’s smoky style, with the extra age bringing more depth and polish to the spirit.
The balance here is what makes it especially appealing. Kilchoman’s peat remains clear and coastal, but the longer maturation gives the whisky more softness and structure, allowing fruit, malt sweetness and oak to sit comfortably alongside the smoke. It feels very much like a fuller, more settled expression of the distillery’s farm-to-bottle style.Long and warming, with lingering peat, citrus and a lightly salty coastal edge.
