The First ever Cognac Cask Matured release as part of Kilchoman's 2023 Limited Editions. 32 casks were chosen by Anthony and Robin for their exceptional quality. The Kilchoman spirit was filled into those Cognac casks and left to age in their warehouses for a minimum of six years. The Cognac casks were sourced from Tonellerie Bossuet (France).

Tasting Notes
Colour
Amber-gold with copper-bronze highlights and a honeyed, sunlit warmth; a rich, inviting hue shaped by Cognac-cask maturation.
Nose
Elegant, dry peat smoke opens the nose, giving way to Kilchoman’s bright, fruity character. The Fino Sherry influence adds dry, smoked oak that balances the peat, with a lasting hint of sweet butterscotch as the aroma unfolds.
Palate
Honeycomb sweetness greets the palate, giving way to rich toffee and caramel. Candied fruits mingle with fresh citrus from the distillation, while flaked almonds add texture and a delicate peat smoke lingers throughout.
Finish
A long, considered finish that lingers with Kilchoman's malty backbone, complemented by ripened citrus from the Fino Sherry casks. Subtle peat weaves through, finishing with hints of dark chocolate.
