Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit pale gold with honeyed, straw-gold highlights.
Nose
Bright coastal peat and sea-salt lift a smoky malt core, touched by vanilla from fresh bourbon cask. Zesty lemon and orange rind mingle with hints of coconut and creamy barley, while light oak spice and a whisper of iodine finish the maritime profile.
Palate
Bright vanilla and creamy barley lead the palate, with a whisper of peat and sea-smoked vigor. Citrus zest, toasted almond and a touch of coconut mingle with warm oak and spice from the fresh Bourbon casks. A balanced, medium-long finish of malt, sweet smoke and mineral notes lingers gracefully.
Finish
Long, creamy finish with vanilla and caramel from the new bourbon cask, tempered by gentle Islay peat and coastal brine. Sweetness eases into toasted oak and spice, finishing with a warm, lingering smoke and a softly maritime echo.
