Colour

Nose

Coastal peat and smoke mingle with iodine and sea air, brightened by lemon zest. Sherry-tinged dark fruit—raisin and fig—emerge with cocoa, vanilla and toasted oak, finishing with a warm, peppery bite.

Palate

Bold, medicinal peat and coastal smoke envelop the palate, with briny sea salt and charred barley. Sherry-cask richness brings dark fruit, fig, cocoa, and a hint of dried orange, tempered by vanilla and spice. Full-bodied, viscous at cask strength, it coats the mouth with a long, smoky finish and a peppery lift.

Finish

Long, warming finish of peat and coastal smoke, slowly yielding to vanilla and cocoa with a whisper of sherry fruit. Resinous oak and pepper linger, drying to a brisk, enduring glow.
