Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sun-kissed amber with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany, glowing with Oloroso-driven richness.
Nose
Islay peat and coastal breeze fuse with Oloroso richness. Peat stays bright as notes of ripe figs, raisins and dried orange unfold, complemented by toasted almond, caramel and a touch of cocoa. A waxy, saline finish lingers, hinting at depth beyond the youthful glow.
Palate
On the palate, a youthful blaze of peat and sea-air smolders beneath a cloak of rich Oloroso warmth. Dried fig and prune sweetness mingle with coffee and dark chocolate, while orange zest and spice lift the finish. Silky, peppery oak supports a lingering, smoky heart.
Finish
Warm, lingering finish of burnt orange zest and dried fig, with toffee sweetness and a gentle peat kiss. Oloroso sherry leaves raisin, cocoa and toasted oak notes that drift into a long, comforting fade.
