Tasting Notes
Colour
Burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany along the edge, glowing warmly in the glass.
Nose
Coastal malt and sea air open the nose, lifted by a sherried sweetness. Dried apricot and fig fuse with almonds, toffee and a vanilla glow, while subtle iodine and brine echo Jura’s island character.
Palate
Delicate yet expressive on the palate, this 8-year Jura unfolds with soft malt, honeyed fruit, and orchard notes, interlaced with vanilla and a touch of toffee. A whisper of coastal salinity and oak supports bright citrus, finishing clean with a gentle warmth.
Finish
Long, refined finish with coastal brine and soft vanilla giving way to dried fruit and cocoa from the sherry cask influence. Spices linger, weaving orange zest and almond into a warm, lingering fade that invites the next sip.
