An early-1980s bottling of Glenfiddich Pure Malt, presented in the distillery’s classic green triangular bottle and bottled at 43% ABV / 86 U.S. Proof. The bottle features the older ornate stag label, gold foil capsule and traditional “Pure Malt” wording used during this period.
It is accompanied by its original black-and-gold cylindrical presentation tube, giving the set a distinctive period look. The combination of the older label design, packaging and bottle format makes this a strong example of Glenfiddich’s presentation style from the early 1980s.

Light to medium in body, the palate opens with orchard fruit—apple and pear—woven with pale malt sweetness. Subtle vanilla and creamy oak rise, with a gentle spice and a clean, lightly dry finish. Polished and approachable, it carries Glenfiddich’s refined Speyside character at a classic 40% ABV.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with persistent sherry influence: dark fruit and raisin sweetness mingle with toasted almond, cocoa, and a gentle spice, leaving a velvety, warming glow that lingers gracefully.
