Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper and bronze highlights.
Nose
Coastal peat envelops the nose: smoke and sea air mingle with brine and ash, as a bonfire on a shingle beach lingers. Bright citrus zest—lemon and orange peel—cuts the haze, while honeyed toffee and caramel weave through the depth. Warm oak, vanilla and a touch of maritime mineral add polish and lingering elegance.
Palate
Powerful peat and smoke with a bright coastal edge. Citrusy notes of lemon and grapefruit cut through rich toffee, while a saline, mineral core hints at sherry influence. Silky and full on the palate, it finishes long with lingering peat, citrus zest and a warm caramel sweetness.
Finish
Long, peaty finish with bright citrus zest and soft toffee. Coastal smoke lingers as a warm, resinous sweetness fades to a salted-caramel echo.
