Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with warm honey tones and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea-salt rise, carrying a Bourbon-vanilla glow. Malt sweetness threads through citrus zest, while Sherry adds dark raisin, fig and cocoa notes, with toasted oak and spice. A brisk maritime aroma that hints at youthful Islay character and inviting complexity.
Palate
Peat smoke floods the palate, tempered by maritime brine and citrus zest. Bourbon vanilla and toffee weave with sherried raisin, fig and cocoa. A waxy, mouth-coating texture leads to a long, peppery finish with ash and sea-salt smoke.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peaty smoke with a gentle sherry lift; dark fruit and cocoa linger, tempered by oak spice and a whisper of coastal salinity, fading to a warm, resinous glow.
