Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany undertones and a copper-gold glow.
Nose
Coastal peat and iodine rise from the glass, tempered by lush sherry sweetness. Dried cherries and figs mingle with cocoa, leather and a touch of beeswax, all riding on lacquered oak. A refined maritime lift—salt air and subtle seaweed—keeps the smoke elegant and poised.
Palate
Smoked peat and coastal brine greet the tongue, tempered by sherry-softened dark fruit. Dried fig, cocoa and orange peel unfold with toasted almond, while a waxy, maritime peat lingers into a long, refined finish with subtle spice.
Finish
Long and maritime, the finish carries smoke, iodine and a saline tang that lingers on the tongue. Ashy peat broadens into subtle sherry-influenced sweetness, followed by warming spice and dry oak, leaving a refined, lingering ember.
