Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep burnished amber with copper-gold glow and a subtle mahogany edge, a sun-warmed hue that speaks of aged sherry influence.

Nose

Sweet apricot with lime zest and roasted peanuts lead the aroma, layered with white chocolate. A bright note of bitter lemon emerges, finishing with a hint of aged leather.

Palate

Tart citrus unfolds into toasted oak and cocoa powder, while dried pineapple mingles with fresh garden mint and a touch of peppery spice.

Finish

A full, spicy finish that lingers with toasted almonds, fading into warm oak and cocoa.

(Glen-BUR-gee) Glenburgie is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Alves in Moray, with origins dating back to 1810, when it was known as Kilnflat. Official distilling records begin in 1829, and the Glenburgie name was adopted after the distillery reopened in the 1870s following an earlier closure.
