Tasting Notes

Nose

Fragrant lemon aroms interwine with honey dew melon and sweet demerara sugar. Red apple notes develop accompanied by grape fruit zest and walnut.

Palate

Citrus fruit flavours give way to guava and subtle cured meat's dried mango comes to the fore alongside toasted almond's and spicy pepper.

Finish

Soft smoke lingers on the finish with green apple, poached pear and spice.

(HY-land PARK) Highland Park was founded in Kirkwall in 1798, with the distillery tracing its start to Magnus Eunson, who obtained his first whisky-making licence that year. It remains one of Orkney’s best-known distilleries, and the island setting is central to the whisky’s identity, from the local peat to the maritime climate that shapes maturation.
