Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden amber with a honeyed glow and coppery undertones, a warm, sunlit depth that enriches the glass.
Nose
Soft coastal air and tumbled heather mingle with warm peat, honeyed barley, and vanilla. Sherry cask influence delivers dark orchard fruits (raisins, figs, and orange zest) alongside toasted almond and a whisper of cocoa, finishing with a delicate sea-salt lift.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied, with honeyed sweetness and a whisper of vanilla. Sherry-cask maturity brings dried fig, raisin, and cocoa, tempered by subtle peat smoke and a touch of maritime salt. Mid-palate offers ginger and nutmeg spice, leading to a warm, lingering finish of toffee, orchard fruit, and gentle, peat-kissed smoke.
Finish
Long, refined finish with peat-smoked malt, honeyed sweetness, and a subtle sherry glow. Dried fruit and spice linger, a whisper of vanilla and coastal salinity fading to warm, polished oak.
