Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery glints and a sunlit warmth.
Nose
Ripe honeyed sweetness leads, with whispering peat and a touch of maritime salt. Orchard fruit, pear and lemon zest fuse with almond and vanilla, while sherry-cask influence adds plump dried fruits, fig, cocoa nibs and a warm, resinous depth. Delicate smoke lingers, threaded by subtle iodine and nutty notes, signaling a refined, generous Highland Park complexity.
Palate
Silky honey and subtle peat greet the palate, giving way to rich sherry-fruited depth—dried fig, raisin and orange zest, with vanilla and warming spice. A maritime breath threads through, concluding in a soft oak and light smoke for a refined, lingering finish.
Finish
Long and honeyed, the finish carries a gentle peat warmth that lingers with spice and dried fruit. Vanilla-soaked oak tapers slowly, leaving a soft coastal sweetness and a polished, resinous echo.
