Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with warm honey tones, coppery highlights and a subtle mahogany glow.
Nose
Elegant peat smoke mingles with honeyed orchard fruit, vanilla and citrus zest. Sherry-cask depth adds dark raisin, fig and almond, with a touch of toffee. A maritime whisper and toasted oak weave through the fragrance, giving vintage Highland Park a refined, complex, slightly sweeter profile that lingers with warm sophistication.
Palate
Silky and balanced, this Highland Park offers a quiet peat whisper blended with citrus zest and honeyed apple. Sherry-cask maturation yields dark dried-fruit sweetness—raisin, fig, and cocoa—woven with almond and spice. A maritime edge and warm oak give a long, softly smoky finish.
Finish
Elegantly long, the finish coats the palate with soft peat smoke and a sherry-soaked sweetness, like dried fruit and toffee. Subtle coastal salt underpins vanilla and spicy oak, while the smoke lingers, softening into a warm, resinous sweetness that invites another sip.
