Glenburgie Chieftain's Single Oloroso Sherry Cask #96631 Whisky 14 Year Old · 2003 Vintage

A limited single-cask release from Glenburgie, independently bottled by Ian Macleod for the Chieftain's collection. Distilled in May 2003 and aged for 14 years, the whisky received an Oloroso sherry finish, complementing Glenburgie's traditionally fruity Speyside character with richer dried fruit, nutty sweetness and warming oak spice.

Bottled in April 2018 at 46% ABV from cask no. 96631, the outturn was restricted to only 398 bottles. Presented un-chill-filtered and at natural colour, this is a particularly collectible Glenburgie, a distillery whose spirit is more commonly encountered as a key component in blended Scotch than as a mature single malt.
