The first of two releases in February from our friends at Glenburgie. This 10-year-old has been matured in first fill bourbon barrels and has taken a barrel load of delights from the wood delighting with tarte au citron with a generous helping of Crème Patisserie piped on top.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber, with sunlit honey tones and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
Bright lemon zest and lemon curd lift from the glass, paired with vanilla crème pâtissière and toasted pastry. Creamy vanilla-butter notes from first-fill bourbon mingle with a light oak sweetness, while a whisper of spice keeps it poised. A dessert-like nose of tart lemon and custard, inviting and refined.
Palate
Creamy and citrus-forward on the palate, delivering tart lemon and zesty zest folded into silky creme patisserie. Plush vanilla and buttered pastry mingle with subtle oak and gentle spice, a touch of marzipan, then a long, creamy finish of lemon-sweet custard.
Finish
Long, creamy finish with lemon custard and vanilla pastry notes lingering on the palate. Bright citrus softens to warm vanilla, light oak and a whisper of spice, leaving a dessert-like sweetness that lingers gracefully.
