Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Rich sherried nose with dark fruit and velvety sweetness; raisin and fig mingle with treacle and orange zest, sinking into polished oak. Hints of almond, toffee, and a whisper of spice lend elegance to the fragrance.
Palate
Silky and concentrated, the palate arrives with dark fig and prune, lacquered by chocolatey cacao and a kiss of toffee from the sherry maturation. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—accent the elegant oak, delivering a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, coffee, and a subtle tobacco note lingering.
Finish
Long and elegant, the finish coats the palate with velvet oak and restrained spice. Dried fruit, orange zest, and vanilla linger, fading to a warm, refined glow that leaves a soft sweetness and a whisper of almonds on the aftertaste.
