Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Dried figs and raisin lead the aroma, backed by polished oak and subtle sherry. Nutty notes of walnut and almond fuse with orange zest, cocoa nibs, and a kiss of spice. Waxy, honeyed sweetness entwines vanilla and old leather, resting over a soft malt core for a refined, contemplative bouquet.
Palate
Silky and poised, the palate delivers sherried sophistication: fig and dried plum, orange zest, and cocoa mingle with toasted almond. Subtle spice—cinnamon, clove—drifts over polished oak, giving a mouthfilling, elegant texture. The finish is long and refined, with dried-fruit sweetness echoing into a warm, nutty afterglow.
Finish
Long and contemplative, the finish unfurls with refined oak and dried fruit, a whisper of sherry sweetness, and subtle spice. Cocoa-tinged, it lingers warmly, slowly fading to a graceful, lasting quiet.
