Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Boggy, mossy peat folds into tarry oil notes, woven with seaweed and a chili-flake heat, punctuated by coastal salinity and damp earth.
Palate
Seaweed on a barbecue, briny and smoky with a chilli-flake oil glow; tarry coal-peat coats the palate as a vegetal note of roasted green peppers emerges, finishing with a hint of charred meat.
Finish
Long maritime finish with a kiss of sweetness and citrus zest, intertwining tarry seaweed, brine and oily coastal notes. Peppercorn heat lingers, joined by a chili-like warmth that expands before slowly fading into a sustained, coastal finale.
