Colour

Deep copper-amber with a radiant honey-gold glow and subtle mahogany edges.

Nose

Towering peat and smoke envelop the nose, crowned by marine iodine and sea-salt brine. Beneath, bright citrus peel and ripe orchard fruit mingle with vanilla-soaked oak, a touch of nougat and gentle spice. Subtle ash and graphite lend a mineral, coastal restraint to the heft of the aroma.

Palate

Powerfully peated and richly oily, it coats the palate with blazing smoke, sea salt and iodine. Dark fruit and cocoa mingle with Sherry-influenced spice, while vanilla and oak sweetness threads through the mid-palate. At cask strength, pepper and citrus lift the finish, leaving a maritime ash, medicinal peat and lingering embered smoke.

Finish

An exceptionally long finish of peat smoke and maritime brine that lingers like a smouldering ember. Vanilla and toasted oak emerge, with peppery spice tracing the palate, and a final, velvety smoke that fades to a warm, coastal memory.
