North Port (silent) Very Rare Private Cellar Whisky 22 Year Old · 1982 Vintage
In stock
A rare single malt from the now-closed North Port Distillery in Brechin, this Very Rare Private Cellar release was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2004 at 43% ABV. North Port operated intermittently through the 20th century before closing in the early 1980s, with the site later demolished, making surviving releases increasingly scarce.
Matured in oak, it reflects the distillery’s lighter Highland style, with a reputation for elegance rather than weight. Long ageing brings a refined character shaped by gentle fruit, soft sweetness and well-integrated wood, offering a composed expression from one of Scotland’s lost distilleries.
