Colour
Deep coppery amber with mahogany-red edges and a warm, wine-kissed glow.
Nose
Piercing peat smoke and sea-salt brine frame a rich bouquet of dried figs and raisins, lifted by sherry- and port-cask sweetness. Cocoa nibs mingle with warm spices—clove, cinnamon, nutmeg—over wine-oak vanilla, with a touch of leather. The coastal Campbeltown character stays smoky, decadently layered, and inviting.
Palate
Peat smoke and coastal brine mingle with concentrated dried fruit—fig, date, raisin—spiked by warm spice. Sherry- and port-oak add cocoa-dusted tannins to a silky, chewy mouthfeel. A long, smoky finish echoes sea-salt with lingering spice and refined sweetness.
Finish
Coastal peat and sea-salted smoke linger first, tapering into a lavish spine of dried fruit, cocoa and spice. The sherry and port casks weave a warm, wine-kissed sweetness that persists, with peppery oak and a final whisper of peat on a long, gracefully maritime finish.
