The 6th release in Glenmorangie's private edition series, this one being produced using traditionally floor-malted Maris Otter barley which was introduced as a special brewers barley in the 1960's and the name Tusail translates from the gaelic meaning originary.
A very elegant and dare I say breakfast whisky addition to the private edition range.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Aromatic barley,melon, ginger, peach flan, dried apricot, hay lofts, freshly baked biscuits, vanilla custard, sugared almonds.
Palate
Nutty toffee, spiced praline, caramelised peaches, french toast, rustic barley, ginger biscuits, ripe melon, pink grapefruit with vanilla icing sugar.
Finish
Juicy and fresh white stone fruit and pink grapefruit, creamy vanilla, dusting of aromatic spices, apricot danish pastries.
