The 6th release in Glenmorangie's private edition series, this one being produced using traditionally floor-malted Maris Otter barley which was introduced as a special brewers barley in the 1960's and the name Tusail translates from the gaelic meaning originary.
A very elegant and dare I say breakfast whisky addition to the private edition range.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with a delicate straw glow and a whisper of honey.
Nose
An elegant, aromatic barley base lifts into sunny melon and ginger, with peach flan and dried apricot lending warmth. Hints of hay lofts, freshly baked biscuits, vanilla custard and sugared almonds round out a creamy, inviting bouquet.
Palate
Nutty toffee and spiced praline lead into caramelised peaches and French toast, with rustic barley lending texture. Ginger biscuits echo throughout, while ripe melon and pink grapefruit finish in vanilla-dusted sweetness.
Finish
Juicy white stone fruits and pink grapefruit glow through a creamy vanilla finish, lightly dusted with aromatic spices, ending in delicate apricot Danish pastries.
