"Offers an extraordinary intensity and complexity, which speaks of its great age, its irreplaceable spirit from a bygone era-and its inspired assemblage from highly sought after casks"
"A stunning , silky blend of a single malt where the flavour profile-and even texture-has obviously been sculpted. As much a work of art as a dram"

"A remarkable glass and well worth trying. The price alone will mean you take your time – which is essential. A classic slow whisky."

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a velvety copper glow and a whisper of ruby hue.
Nose
Aroma of toasted marshmallow and almond layered with red fruits and a perfumed top note of Parma violets. Vanilla and fudge sweetness grounds the bouquet, with baked apples, gentle wood smoke, freshly baked bread and a whisper of beeswax lending a warm, luxurious depth.
Palate
An oily, viscous mouthfeel coats the palate, delivering a gentle peppered warmth. Flavours of baked apples and fudge unfold beside soft citrus, honeyed orange blossom notes, and a subtle lift of eucalyptus oil, weaving a refined, dessert-leaning balance.
Finish
Sweet aniseed lingers on the finish, with notes of leather and oak in the echo. A silky, enduring warmth crowns this aged, cask-driven dram.
