Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 4th Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky 26 Year Old · 1991 Vintage
In stock
The 4th release in Glenmorangie's exceptional Bond House No 1 series. This takes it's name from the largest 19th century warehouse at Glenmorangie, which, in 1990, was transformed into the current still house.
This very limited edition is a 1991 vintage, 26 year old single malt that has been created from 3 distinct parcels of whisky, one finished in Oloroso sherry butts, one finished in Burgundy casks and a small proportion of whisky matured in new toasted oak.
Bottled at 43%abv, this is a whisky with a rich, full and fruit forward character.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery hues and sunlit honey tones.
Nose
Laden with apricot, plum and baked apple, this fruit-forward nose runs deep and mellow. Chocolate threads through, with the gentlest whisper of oak, and delicate hints of truffles and star anise.
Palate
Subtly peppery on the palate, a surge of ripe fruits (cherry, raspberry, plum and stewed apples) unfolds, wrapped in generous milk chocolate with a whisper of oak spice.
Finish
Citrus notes ebb and flow, mingling with ripe fruit, gentle spice and oak drawn from its journey to maturity. The finish unfolds slowly—a long, undulating fade of citrus, fruit and refined oak.
