The Elementa’s spicy depths tell of the endlessly experimental ways of Glenmorangie’s whisky creators. Thanks to their relentless imagination, Glenmorangie was among the pioneers of “finishing” whisky more than 30 years ago.
This 14-year- old whisky is filled with the wondrous layers of flavour that art can bring. First mellowed in bourbon casks, it is then finished in new charred oak casks, with the natural influences of the new wood gifting layers of oak and chocolate to the whisky.
With its deep spectrum of flavours, The Elementa celebrates our spirit's interplay with oak's elemental power. Notes of ginger-flecked dark chocolate spiral around clove and orange, as baked peaches and cake icing emerge layer by luscious layer.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with rich amber undertones and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Spice-driven nose of ginger and clove weaves through dark chocolate, brightened by orange zest. The new charred oak adds polished depth with subtle sweetness, while hints of baked peaches and cake icing rise softly, creating a warm, inviting aroma of depth and refinement.
Palate
Silky and brooding, the palate opens with ginger-flecked dark chocolate, evolving to clove and orange zest. Baked peaches emerge, sweet and orchard-fresh, streaked with cake-icing cream. New charred oak adds toasty, chocolatey depth, while bourbon cask influence keeps it warm and poised, delivering a layered, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, warm finish of gingered dark chocolate, clove and orange zest, carried on the soft glow of new charred oak. Notes of baked peaches and cake icing linger, weaving through spice to a cocoa-tinted, oak-driven afterglow.
