The Elementa’s spicy depths tell of the endlessly experimental ways of Glenmorangie’s whisky creators. Thanks to their relentless imagination, Glenmorangie was among the pioneers of “finishing” whisky more than 30 years ago.
This 14-year- old whisky is filled with the wondrous layers of flavour that art can bring. First mellowed in bourbon casks, it is then finished in new charred oak casks, with the natural influences of the new wood gifting layers of oak and chocolate to the whisky.
With its deep spectrum of flavours, The Elementa celebrates our spirit's interplay with oak's elemental power. Notes of ginger-flecked dark chocolate spiral around clove and orange, as baked peaches and cake icing emerge layer by luscious layer.
