Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with a wine-kissed ruby glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Smoked pink grapefruit, crunchy red berries (cranberry and redcurrant), pink wafers, subtle earthy strawberry plant notes, red liquorice and salted rose water.
Palate
Stewed plums and redcurrant jelly lead the palate, with crunchy tannins framing depth. Peppery strawberry, leather and liquorice intertwine, while a salty, smoked shortbread echoes and lingers into a savory, complex finish.
Finish
Finish is dry and leathery, with bold red-wine and black-grape tannins that linger. Peppery chili heat threads through, tempered by smoked red berries and a final whisper of savory, salty-meaty notes that endure.
