Nose
Peated, sea-salted smoke leads, edged with iodine and char. Beneath, Pinot Noir cask influence brings red fruit—ripe cherry, raspberry, cranberry—paired with dark cocoa, vanilla and a touch of leather. Clove and toasted oak spice rise as the aroma settles, giving a refined, vinous lift to this Campbeltown malt.
Palate
Powerfully smoky yet refined, this 15-year Longrow reveals a wine-kissed palate from Pinot Noir casks. Bright red fruit—cherry, raspberry, a hint of strawberry—meets peat and campfire smoke. Spices bloom—clove, black pepper—alongside leather, cocoa and oak. The finish is warming and dry-tannic, lingering with ember-like smoke and a subtle wine sweetness.
Finish
Long, smoky and fruit-forward, the finish reveals bright red berries—raspberry and cherry—carried by Pinot Noir influence. Peat lingers with wine-spice and fine tannins, fading to a warm, peppery oak and an enduring ember of campfire and vineyard.
