A brand new Glendronach expression for 2015. This moves away from the heavily sherried style of Glendronach and is matured in a mixture of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. An altogether much creamier and nutty affair.

Colour
Golden amber with warm honeyed hues and a subtle copper glow.
Nose
Creamy vanilla and toffee mingle with toasted almond and hazelnut, a subtle sherry fruit lift from the cask blend, and warm oak kissed by gentle spice.
Palate
Silky and creamy on the tongue, this 8-year Glendronach unfolds with a medley of vanilla and toffee from the ex-Bourbon influence, weaving with gentle sherry-driven richness. Nutty notes of almond, walnut and hazelnut mingle with dried fruit—raisin, fig, a whisper of orange zest. A caramelized sweetness sits over a velvety, rounded body, finishing with warm spice, cocoa and a subtle oak kiss.
Finish
Long, silky finish of vanilla and toasted almond, with a delicate nutty sweetness from the bourbon and sherry casks. Creamy caramel and cocoa linger, spiced by a whisper of oak and a warm, lingering warmth.
