Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper highlights and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea spray mingle with lemon zest, green apple and a touch of vanilla sweetness. A sherry-cask depth unfolds with raisins, fig and toasted almond, edged by cocoa and gentle spice—a bright, maritime Kilchoman nose that is bold, youthful and inviting.
Palate
Peat smoke leads with coastal brine and ember, while bright citrus zest and green apple keep it buoyant. Vanilla sweetness and a sherry-cask warmth thread through dried-fruit notes, with subtle chocolate and toasted almond. An oily mouthfeel coats the palate, and the finish returns spice, saline hints, and a lingering, warming glow.
Finish
Peat smoke lingers with saline coastal notes, a veil of lemon zest and vanilla. The warmth stays long into a softly charred, cocoa-dusted finish, with a gentle pepper and drying oak.
