Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glints and subtle mahogany undertones, a warm, sun-kissed caramel glow.
Nose
Aromas of warm malt and honeyed barley rise to meet sherried riches—ripe dried plum, fig and orange zest, with cocoa nibs in the background. Vanilla, toffee and toasted oak weave through, while a whisper of nutmeg adds quiet spice.
Palate
Silky and balanced, this Pure Malt glides across the palate with orchard fruit—pear and apple—woven through creamy malt and vanilla. Subtle spice threads in, touched by gentle oak. The mouthfeel is smooth and rounded, finishing with warm honey, faint nuttiness, and a refined, lingering finish.
Finish
Long and velvet, the finish coats the palate with sherry-tinged fruits—prune and fig—while toasted almond, cocoa, and a gentle spice drift into a refined, lingering oak warmth.
