Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery mahogany undertones.
Nose
Bold maritime peat and campfire smoke rise from the glass, laced with briny air and fresh barley. A sherried depth brings dark fruit—raisin, fig, a hint of orange peel—alongside vanilla, spice and cocoa. Oak resin and coastal salt finish with a robust, Islay-wide aroma that is both vigorous and alluring.
Palate
Bold peat and coastal salt envelop a lush, full-bodied palate. Sherry-dark fruit, vanilla, and toasted nuts fuse with smoky malt, while peppery spice and oak drive a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with sea-salt briskness giving way to luscious sherry-tinged fruit, dark cocoa and toasted oak; peppery warmth lingers, echoing Kilchoman’s coastal tide long after the sip.
