Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a honey-gold glow.
Nose
A fragrant fusion of orange zest with dried apricot and plum, layered with sherry sweetness and bourbon vanilla. Toffee and dark chocolate ripen alongside coconut, almond and baking spices—nutmeg and clove—settling on a warm, polished oak finish.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this Arran unfolds with a harmonious duel of sherry and bourbon influence. Dried figs, sultanas, and ripe cherries mingle with dark chocolate, toasted almond and vanilla, while a touch of clove and cinnamon threads through. A coastal, slightly saline edge lingers, carried by polished oak and subtle sweetness, finishing with warmth and refinement.
Finish
Long, graceful finish that lingers with a velvet seam of dried fruit and cocoa from the sherry, threaded with vanilla and warm spice from the bourbon. Oak shows subtly as the sweetness slowly sighs away, leaving a refined, contemplative afterglow.
