The latest edition to the Signature Series from Arran is the aptly named Barrel Bonfire. Matured for a total of 11 years in bourbon and quarter casks, this delectably smoky dram is smooth and complex with notes of hazelnuts, vanilla and rich dry smoke.

Colour

Warm golden amber with honeyed depth and coppery glints.

Nose

Hazelnuts coated in caramel unfold with orange zest and generous vanilla, finished by a rich, dry smoke.

Palate

Rich and smooth, mouth-wateringly oily and complex, with cinnamon spice mingling with citrus, while generous vanilla lingers over toasted oak.

Finish

Long, rich and sweet, with generous vanilla and lingering peat.
