This Arran Single Malt was produced from malted barley peated to 20ppm and fully aged in ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts.These casks were sourced from a well-respected producer in the Jerez region of Spain, whose family has been making Sherry there for generations.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with mahogany depths and coppery highlights.

Nose

Citrus fruits, brown sugar and oak rise from the glass, carried by a dry bonfire smoke that lingers with warm, smoky sweetness.

Palate

Silky and rich, the palate is oak-forward with a plush, creamy texture. Sweet citrus notes rise through a gentle spice, while the Oloroso influence weaves warmth into a long, refined finish of soft, assertive oak.

Finish

Long, oak-forward finish that lingers with sweetness, fading into dry smoke. A multi-layered finale, and a drop of water opens up red fruits.
