Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery shimmer and ruby-tinged edges, a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Rich and fruity on the nose, the Arran hallmark shines: candied orange peel, nectarine and parma violet with stewed summer fruits and vanilla custard. Strawberry liquorice, raspberries and ginger add sweetness and lift, while sherry- and port-cask influence hints at hazelnut in the background.
Palate
Velvety richness coats the palate with candied orange and nectarine, lifted by Parma violet. Stewed summer fruits mingle with vanilla custard, then yield to sweet-tart strawberry liquorice and fresh raspberries with a ginger spine. Sherry and port cask influence threads in nutty depth, with hazelnut notes developing and lingering into a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long, dusky finish with a warm sherry-tinged sweetness fading into hazelnut praline and ripe nectarine. Notes of orange peel and strawberry linger, carried by gentle ginger spice and a silky vanilla gloss that persists.
