An extremely limited Single Cask release from the Arran distillery. This Private Cask yielded just 172 bottles and is one of the earliest filled by the distillery. These casks are very rare now, dating from 1995, the year that the distillery was founded.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Apple Danish pastries in a dunnage warehouse. A green herbaceous note like fresh basil flows into the dusty, musty musk that only whisky of advancing years yields. The nose develops to assertive tropical characters—pineapple and guava—under the fruit layer, with a zesty Arran DNA in lemon balm. An impression of beeswax suggests a full palate to come.
Palate
Round, mouth-coating and oily, the palate unfolds into a floral hedgerow with springtime brightness. Vanilla fudge adds a chewy sweetness, while lively Arran citrus persists alongside a crack of white pepper— a mature dram that still dances with energy, never flat.
Finish
Fragrant cedarwood sawdust lingers as the wood influence grows. Red apple returns as the palate dries slowly, with a long, refined finish. A classy, mature Arran; distillery and aged-spirit notes prevail while the cask gently supports rather than dominates.
