Colour

Nose

Towering peat smoke cloaks the glass, edged with iodine and sea-salt brine. Maritime incense and ash mingle with a resinous, medicinal lift. Beneath, vanilla, toffee and cocoa seep from the oak, with dried fruit adding warmth. A bold, cask-strength aroma that hints at depth, complexity and a long, ember-tinged finish.

Palate

Powerful peat and sea-salt drive the palate, delivering smoky iodine, ash and brine with a velvety mouthfeel. Sherry-cask sweetness surfaces as fig, date and dark chocolate, interwoven with espresso notes. Oak spice—pepper and clove—adds depth, culminating in a long, warming finish of smoke, saline tang and lingering heat.

Finish

Long, maritime finish with iodine-kissed peat and sea-salt that lingers on the tongue. Sherried sweetness surfaces as raisin, fig and dark cherry, wrapped in baking spice and cocoa, while warm, smoke-like embers fade slowly, leaving a resinous, mouth-coating warmth.
