Bold Lagavulin peat softened to a silken blaze; entry plush with smoky sweetness giving way to thick toffee and vanilla. Coconut notes rise through the mid-palate, while aromatic spices: clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, stoking warmth. First-fill ex-Bourbon and refill casks impart a glossy oak glaze, silky and persistent, culminating in a chewy, toasted finish.
