Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark copper-amber with mahogany depth and a glossy, wine-dark glow.
Nose
Peat smoke unfurls with a coastal sea-salt breeze, softened by rich sherry. Dried fig and plum tease cocoa nib, orange zest, vanilla, and toasted almond. A medicinal iodine edge sits beneath lacquered wood and caramelized sugar, beckoning with a poised, smoky elegance.
Palate
Powerful peat smoke carries a maritime bite, creamy yet warming. Sherry-softened sweetness threads through figs and raisins, with dark chocolate and toasted oak. Spices — cinnamon, clove — glow as the alcohol asserts itself, then fade to a long, briny finish of smoke and iodine, leaving a refined, celebratory warmth.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat smoke and sea salt lingers, tempered by sherry sweetness. Dark fig and cocoa unfold with leather and spice, as toasted oak and ember-like warmth slowly fade into a lingering, elegant glow.
