A very limited release Lagavulin, bottled for the U.S market only and made in collaboration with Nick Offerman, the actor who played the Lagavulin loving Ron Swanson in the hit show Parks and Recreation. This 11 year old Single malt has been matured in a mixture of refill and rejuvenated Bourbon casks, before being bottled at 46% ABV.
The whisky is said to carry the signature Lagavulin peatiness but with extra spices and notes of dried fruit to carry the smoke. The whisky offers a full-on tingle from the split second it hits your lips, with pronounced fresh berry character combined with spiciness. Elevated top-notes provide a more direct flavor journey than other Lagavulin expressions.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with warm copper undertones.
Nose
Delicate, evolving nose: a soft ashiness sits atop a light prickle, with hints of linseed oil. Subtle candied fruit—hard-boiled sweets—unfolds beside a clean sea-breeze, like coastal air near a fishing harbour. A bright maritime smoke lingers; with water, the prickle softens and the smoky, coastal character gains emphasis.
Palate
Soft and smooth at natural strength, this Lagavulin delivers a bold, sweeter-than-expected profile alongside signature peat and smoke. Fresh berry notes mingle with subtle spice and a touch of sea salt, while the mid-palate remains lightly drying. The finish is long, smoky and buoyant, with a clean mineral edge and a hint of sea air.
Finish
Long and very smoky, the peat coats the palate with a lightly drying finish and a saline, appetising aftertaste. The smoke stays bold, while a touch of sweetness blooms with water, though the peat remains the defining memory of the finish.
