Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold glints and a bronze-tinged edge.
Nose
Peat smoke and iodine rise, carried on sea-salt brine and cool coastal air. Waxy barley sweetness threads through vanilla, with faint sherry, dried fruit and leather hints. A citrus zest accent and mineral core lift the aroma, leading to a refined, maritime finish.
Palate
Coiled peat and maritime brine envelop the palate, with smoky ash and iodine tempered by citrus zest and dried fruit. Rich sherry sweetness coats the tongue, weaving black tea, dark chocolate and gentle oak spice into a waxy, mouth‑filling texture. A long saline finish lingers with smoke and a touch of leather.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with sea-salt and mineral polish. Peat depth winds through sherry-driven sweetness—raisins, dark chocolate, dried fruit—settling into toasted oak. The coastal echo lingers, a gentle, salted-spice fade that slowly dissipates.
