Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany hues and a warm golden glow.
Nose
Coastal peat and iodine surge from the glass, riding a waxy smoke with salted caramel. Sherry-dark fruits—raisins and figs—join almond and leather, while sea-salt and mineral notes keep it brisk. A bright whisper of citrus zest and vanilla lingers on the finish.
Palate
Silken peat and sea-salt lift a coastal core, as smoky oak and dried fruit mingle with subtle sherry sweetness. Rich malt, toffee and orange peel trail through a bracing, iodine-kissed finish, tempered by refined spice and a lingering, maritime smoke.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with sea-salt, peat smoke and a shimmer of sherry sweetness. Dried fruit, cocoa and leather unfold slowly as the smoke eases, leaving a warm, refined echo of Brora’s coastal depth that lingers well after the final sip.
